The Student Health Home is an initiative of the Government of West Bengal, aimed at providing comprehensive healthcare services to students in the state. Established in 1944, it is one of the oldest student health schemes in India.

Objectives:

  1. To provide medical care and health services to students
  2. To promote health awareness and education among students
  3. To detect and treat health problems early on
  4. To provide counseling and guidance on health-related issues

Services:

  1. Medical check-ups and treatment

  3. Diagnostic tests and investigations

Eligibility:

  1. Students of government-aided schools and colleges
  2. Students of universities affiliated to the Government of West Bengal
  3. Students of other recognized educational institutions
